Young drunk driver. Should be locked up for a long time. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Shocked wow, that's so sad.

I'm not in the UK currently so hadn't seen this on the news.
The night time riding is one of the worst in any 24hr style ride. Sadly even with all manor of lights and reflectors cyclists still don't show up that well to drivers. Obviously the 18yr old was over the limit so I guess the guy didn't stand a chance Sad

I've ridden down to Dover during the night time on another event I did a couple of years ago (London to Amsterdam) and you really do feel so vulnerable on the roads at night. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
MERCEDES GL350 - Metallic Navy Blue w/Grey interior

GOING: BMW F31 335D MSport+ xDrive Touring
GONE: Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE - Stornaway Grey w/Black Interior (wish we'd kept it Banging Head )
GONE: BMW F10 520D MSport - Carbon Black
GONE:MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ivory/Grand Black Privacy glass

Yes very very sad in deed,I live in the village just off the 'old Thanet way' the road was shut for the best part of the Sunday. following police investigations their has been a 2nd arrest of a teenage lad who was also in the car at the time. Both are bailed to appear in court in July.
The road it's self many moons ago use to be 3 lanes with the 3rd middle lane used by traffic each way as a passing lane which as you can imagine was carnage!. Works well when WATCHED
