Hi all

Wanted an opinion as to whether using powerful uk 2012 tailgate upgrade or whether to change the complete tailgate as a breaker has one currently in white.

Suggestions appreciated.

Yeah agree with you guys, replace the lot, I read somewhere about a guy who'd replaced a late MY tailgate with newer chrome bar type, on his older , I think @ 06/07 , like he was the first person to do this as a complete swap over.

bought the tailgate upgrade for my 2010 from powerfuluk had to by the new lettering that goes with 2012 model. Thought it was better then buying a 2012 tailgate as I prefer the split tailgate it seems more useful and easy inthe mornings to load up my laptop and gym bag. I suppoose it's what you prefer.

excellent point Nav01 ! Having done the tailgate trim upgrade, like Peachy, it was very simple but it also comes down to price...if I could get the real deal cheap from the breakers and know for sure it fits, then I would go for it ! Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

lol thats right Peachy sort it out lol, I bought the full autobiography kit front and rear bumpers on Peachy's recommendation from Dan at duckworths good call good price for gen parts and the rest from powerfukuk, trying to find somebody in north london who can paint and fit for me. hasnt been easy Duckworths sent out the front bumper and then informed me that they had a problem with the supplier due pricing so i will have to wait for a while for the rear bumper, finally got the rear bumper last week happy times . Just need to get it all on.

Peachy it I think it adds a certain Air of sophistication almost Royal Royce, well may be its just me lol. Mate your RRS looks crisp lol.

Peachy did go for the titinuim silver or chrome strip on the tailgate.

Tailgate upgrade arrived this am and dropped into the paint shop will put some pics up once all done !

At the risk of sounding a bit dense here, does the facelift RRS not have a split two-piece tailgate?
