MY11 Ipod "Device Error"
Hi,
i have just picked up a new to me MY11 RRS TDV6 3.0 Autobiography
I have tried to plug my iPod Classic 80Gb (windows formatted) into the apple cable that came with the car and it does not seem to work.
It says for ages connecting to ipod and then it says "Device Error". Anybody know why this is? Is the Ipod Classic not compatible with MY11?
Any help would be much appreciated

is it 5th generation? It says in owners handbook that iPods must be 5th generation to work. Check Apple website to see what generation yours is.2006 RRS SC Bonatti Grey (the 55th car/van I have owned)

I believe it is according to apple website (iPod classic 2007) just seems strange why it won't work.
Going to try another ipod tonight and see if the problem is still there
