Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, that's what the forum is for. My letter to Landrover was incredibly diplomatic and made no threats at all about adverse publicity (yet). I don't believe making threats would get me anywhere.

I still think if you could somehow prove the wheels are of an inferior grade you have a good case.

Surely there must be certain standards for the production of vehicle wheels. The ultimate composition of the material used would take into consideration the application, weight of vehicle etc. etc.

For all we know LR themselves are being taken for a ride by their wheel supplier! Rolling Eyes Malaysia Boleh!

Well that's made my mind up, not going to bother towing horse trailer with S/C if my alloys are going to be marked.

Also going to have to apologise to Mr Caz now. First time I let him drive my car he marked one of the alloys and I've never let him forget it!!!! Hopefully he'll forgive me and let me tow with his Disco.

These alloys do seem very soft, prone to flat spots too from what I've heard. Sad
