I am looking to replace my tyres on the rrs.I have goodyear excellence on there at the moment.Dont want to pay a lot for a new set as will be selling the car early next year.Have heard general are good for the money.What general tyre is the best.Wont be going off road but would like a tyre to handle a bit of snow.

For 100% road use you've only got the Grabber GT in RRS sizes from General. The AT is a 50%/50% on/off road tyre. How well the GT handles snow is an interesting question - probably as well as any other summer road tyre.
To be honest, if you're going to be keeping the vehicle for a year then getting a decent tyre would seem to be worthwhile. Or do you mean you're getting rid of it in a couple of months?2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
