EPB reset tool Help required (FIXED)

Hey All, Wink

I have just encountered a Fault on my EPB, im anable to operate it as there is a flashing red brake warning lamp on my dash.
The brakes are free luckily, and im looking at getting the rear handbrake shoes changed this weekend, but ive cancelled this appointment until i can see if the actuator will reset with a reset tool.

i was wondering if anyone localish has one that i could try before i go any further with my service?

To give you some info on what happened

when activating the EPB it recently made a very quick squeek (literally 1/2 second) then engaged with no issues.
This particular time i noticed at the traffic lights the car was moving slowly forward in drive with EPB activated, it felt like only one side had engaged, so i disengaged the EPB and then reengaged it, with no problems it sat stationary, i drove off and let the EPB release on its own, but this caused the EPB to go into fault mode, and ever since its not worked.

any advice on what you think has caused this would be very helpful, and equally im happy to drive and let who ever has one of these gizmos to plug it in and try a reset for me (a drink is obviously warranted for your help) Thumbs Up

Regards
PH

Not sure if anyone was interested in this thread, but i thought it only fare to put a fix for others just in case it may help.
This morning i played about with the lever/switch (not sure why), and it seems the problem was with the switch not making contact properly.

so now the system is working ok, and i need to see if the switch can be cleaned, or failing that replaced. Thumbs Up
