You'd probably be better using the money to run it on the high-spec diesels (Shell Nitro, BP Ultimate etc.). Town driving/short hops isn't great for engines and using decent fuel should help keep everything clean and in better condition. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Unless you have specific agreement from the warranty provider then they will run a mile from any claim that they can pin on the remap. Provided they figure out / can prove that it has a remap of course. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Think I might have to wait a bit then as I have main dealer warranty . I'm sure they would spot it a mile off

Depends on the remap. Some (like site sponsor BAS) have a device that lets you change the map back to standard whenever you like. This is useful when you take it in for a service etc. You then put the performance map back on when you get home. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
