Hi Senna, was the tracker an insurance requirement or peace of mind? My insurance company has not asked for one on our HSE due late April, which was a surprise as we had to have one on our current MY12 HSE. |

Tracker was piece of mind really. My insurance company did not require it though I suspect my premium may be a little lower than without it (probably not by much mind and certainly not £170 per annum the cost of Tracker subscription) Current... Interesting on the tracker. Always had to have them on my porsches. Admiral have told me not only do I not need one on my RRS arriving in April but that it would increase the premium as it is a modification. Seems crazy. Given my car will be parked on the street in London I am still mulling over a tracker but will probably duck the annual cost and hassle 2010 997 Carrera S

Yes insurance companies are odd. Some will increase your premium if you garage your car which I understand to a point because there is a higher chance of accidental damage. It is also cheaper if you put your spouse(wife) on the policy. They can also be quite savage if you put on aftermarket wheels or something like a stainless exhaust and increase your premium significantly.
