BAS MPF Remap Programming Via The Cloud!

Have you ever thought a remote tuning solution is needed, and to boot you want to program your cars tuning via your mobile phone ? WELL ITS HERE Razz

We have been beta testing this tool since we spoke with CMD and set the seed about the concept of this over 6 months ago now, its at last at a stage where I can post some beta testing pictures of the tools we will shortly have available in stock.

This is a few snaps of my programming a Defender 2.2 TDCi with the new tool using a Samsung Android.

We will shortly have pricing on our web site for the new and innovative tool, keep watching for a full car list coming soon.

This as seen is with a Samsung phone, but we are in talks with the factory for some of these cheap Tablets that we will be able to supply very very cheap for people who do not have an android phone.

Your welcome to call me.

Their as you know many available Remaps on the market with many different "flavours" of tuning. The tuning we offer is within the safe limits of the car, engine and gearbox as well as main components like the turbo charger, many tuner just wind up the boost and bang fuel in and call it a remap. Not good. Sad

Our tuning is developed by us in house, nearly all of our tuning is revisited for development every year as cars age and landrover release software updates which involves days of checks and development on the Dyno just as we have done when adding the 2010 tdv8 to the MPF tool this week.

some basic videos of what the LEDs will do when the tool is working. These lights can be used to know what the tool is doing if you decide to unplug your Android device while using the MPF.

At Idle

Reading ECU

Writing ECU

Their is no FULL OBD protocal for the Bosch EDC17 fitted on the 3.0L or 4.4L Engines on any tools. When ecu is open maps are done for them no problem. but not by full obd.

Slightly off topic Pete, but are you planning on sorting a method to blank the EGR on the TDV8? It was mentioned elsewhere by a forum member that you might be doing so. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

After the TDV6 is final most probabally yes. I may look into software implementation also with the MPF.

I shall cross my fingers and look forward to an announcement at some point ( hopefully soon Thumbs Up )

I think EGR blanking along with my BAS remap should make the TDV8 perfect. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Here is a link to our FaceBook MPF page we have just set up. I have put a few basic videos on their showing reading and writing an ecu.

https://www.facebook.com/BASMPF?ref=hl

We finished adding the FFRR 5.0L MY2010 Denso engine ecu to the tool today. tomorrow is dyno day with it to catch up on some of landrovers enginecalibration updates and putting tuning to them.

Very shortly the interface will be in stock and on sale on our web shop as a remap addon hardware kit.

Regards Pete
