MY12 - Can you remove mud flaps?

Hi All, after 8 weeks of searching and lots of patience I'm finally getting closer to a purchase..

There's a car am looking at that has mud flaps fitted front and back but personal preference is without.
Unsure of how flaps fix to the RRS so my question is are these removable without trace of fixings to bodywork?
The car has side steps.

Thanking you in advance

J.

Yes they can be removed without trace. Personally, i would leave them on.

Leave them on!! They protect your paintwork from stone chips and reduce spray and muck thrown up by the wheels. All LRs look the best with flaps on. Thanks both.

the practical point is unquestioned Very Happy

Knowing it's now an option to remove without trace leaves the on/off discussion open to experiment..

I didn't want to start a thread with "what looks best?" {runs and hides in a corner hoping no-one notices Embarassed }

Thanks again..

Thumbs Up

As said they can be removed but you may want to replace the rubber arch trims - these are trimmed when you fit the mud flaps Thumbs Up Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
