Shocked

Just had a read of this from top to bottom and whilst I regonsie a few names (Peachy I know is currently still talking to Korel) I can only apologise if we have missed anyone.

We do share a site with Bentley but that certainly shouldnt be a negative or any reason for us not to sell a car (we also have our Jaguar showroom a stones throw away!)

If at anytime anyone would like to get hold of us please feel free to email me either directly jeremy.jackson@hadleygreen.co.uk, through our generic forum email address forum@hadleygreen.co.uk, by PM or by good old fashioned phone 02084408252. We also welcome visitors! Laughing

If for any reason you dont get a response please let us know by an alternative means, we do have a spam system in place and will always respond no matter how strange or unusal the request or question (believe me, we get some interesting ones!!!)

Can I echo Jeremy's comments, and confirm that if anyone feels that we've been unresponsive in any way then please let Jeremy or I know.

In 8 years of sponsoring Martin's forums both at HGG and at a previous dealership I have always impressed the importance of responding to forum enquiries promptly and professionally with the objective of getting great feedback for a great service.

Clearly this is 'not our style' and Jeremy is there (or myself) via email should you need anything.

Apologies for dropping the ball.

Hi Guys I have called your dealership for a extended warranty 4 times in last two weeks each time I have been told that I will receive a call back never did, last time I called I got told that the lady that deals with extended warranties is on holiday and nobody is dealing with that area of your business and I would receive a call on her return. No call back so I got fed up last friday and took the extended warranty with Warranty Wise after there prompt call back.

Regards

Jeremy/James, thanks for the replies. You come highly recommended on the forum by several long term members and I am sure the lack of response to my email was as you say an oversight or just one that slipped through the net so to speak. As it happened the exact car I was after(even though at the time of my email to you I didn't really know what I was after) turned up a couple of days later locally and from a convenience point of view as well as colour and spec etc it was perfect for me. I would have chased my enquiry up had this car not been what I was after and I'm sure we would have been able to do business.
These things happen and it's no big deal. Thumbs Up

I will contact you again in the future when required.

Shocked cant believe your selling it after everything you have done Shocked

With regards to what its worth, I would start with a basic price of what they are fetching on the trader towards the bottom end of the price bracket (remember anyone can advertise a car for top dollar, but selling it is a different matter) and work your way up from there. In your case a standard SC with less than 80k is fetching about £14k-£15k, now add up the cost of the conversion Big Cry (don't let Mrs P see this cost though Shocked Laughing ).

Obviously you cant expect to get every penny spent on mods back on the value of the car, but you can expect someone to pay a premium for a car that has been converted to such a high standard and has potentially saved the new owner the job of doing it themselves.

So basically, it comes down to the price of a standard equivalent + a happy medium of what you think the mods are worth and what someone is prepared to pay.

I personally know that you have put a LOT of time, money & effort it this car and it looks even better in the flesh than it does in pics on here, you can tell that by looking at it, its not just a basic conversion and that you have gone the extra mile.

My advice - Keep it!!

I think its worth more to you on the drive than it will be in cash Thumbs Up
