Despite having several land rover since 15 year old from defenders and 90's to a v8 110 range rover classic and discovery 200/300/Tdv6 I've now grown up and just got a 2nd hand rrs

Nice and basic hse lux face lift 10 plate in nara bronze with black leather and piano black trim rather than wood

Let's see what it brings

any tips for bringing the side steps back up to new.

they are covered in small black marks (kind of like mould) but i tried some lloy cleaner and scrubbing - made an impact but was looking for a quicker fix

Got mine off with T cut

I guess the black marks will be tar?
Try some tar remover (WD40 and petrol will have similar results, but exercise caution).
To polish up the silver strips, a metal polish or even something like Brasso should help.

Finally, once you get them nice and clean, protect the sides with wax/sealant and also the black steps with a plastic/rubber protectant  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
