Sat nav update problems

I have a RRS 2007. I tried to update my GB maps with genuine discs 2011-2012. Now the sat nav will not display the keyboard to enter data after pressing address/postcode button. Can anyone help please

Mine did that when I reset factory defaults to lose 'Home' location, as it says above hit UK on the map & off you go...

...and let me know if I could borrow the disks for my 57 plate TDV8? Wink

Hi, managed to manually load upgrade from disc by using a code. Sat nav updated software 1070 ? But I still can enter any post code or address as the screen will not move to the alpha numeric keyboard. Any ideas please . Could it be a software glitch in the DVD player software. The battery had gone flat while it was with the previous owners. I put a 2007 sat nav disc in and it all works fine ???
Thanks

I'm sure I read somewhere that the system needs rebooting or something when a new disc is added, I bought a new disc from my local indi but he loaded it while I was drinking his coffee Whistle

Did you change the country back to the UK though? Belgium does not need alpha keys for post codes! Whistle 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

I recently updated mine with the 2011 disc as well. I just put in the new disc, let it do its thing for about 10 mins and then changed the default country from Belgium to UK and then I got my postcode search back and everything has worked as it should since!
