How to fit a new instrument dial cluster set RRS 2005-2009

Hi

I am thinking of changing my RRS 2005-2009 instrument dial set with a newer looking after market coloured display has anybody done this, if so how difficult is it to change?

What's involved and how long would it roughly take?

I have seen some posts which looked like you need to take half the drivers side including steering column facia and electrical connectors away? In order to remove the dial set assembly?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Where is the after market one.. Also the Ipack contains the CCF file which tells the car what configuration's it set to, You might also have problems with mileage settings. All your ECU's are sync to the Ipack so it knows what connected in the car.

Sorry Flack all I am after is changing the dial set to an after market type maybe a plasma illuminated one, rather than the OEM one on the car.
