Range Rover Sport TDV8 57 plate.

Had the 'Parking Brake' warning message on the dash, a red and an amber warning light on dash. The red warning light stayed on permanently, even when vehicle locked with remote.

The handbrake itself operated correctly, on and off.

Found a wire chafed and earthing out on the chassis, under the n/s/r wheelarch.

Cut a section of wire out, soldered in a new section, put lots of insulation tape around the wiring loom to stop it happening again.

All fixed and working now
