Hi im a newbie

Hi i just ordered my RRS.Im only 22 so had to go for the 2.7 TDV6 as the insurance companies were not a fan of petrol engines.I was wondering what implications are involved in changing the Wheels.I want to change mine for 20s when it arrives but wasnt sure it would be as simple as a straight swap.Are there any suspension changes needed?Mine will be coming with the standard eighteens on the SE id that helps?

cheers

Hi Anton,

Welcome to the forum. I'm pretty sure you'll have no issues with changing to 20's apart from a firmer ride.

The more knowledgable guys will reply soon to give you a better reply than me

Kaine

Welcome Anton Very Happy

I sure it will be just be a straight swap over from 18" to 20" and Kaine is right you will have a firmer ride! RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

of course you need to compensate the large rims with low profile tyres - hence the harsher ride

Well you've come to the best place to learn more about your car before you get it Very Happy

Different heights

Low = Witch you use for getting in and out (you don't have to if you don't want to) called access height
Normal = Driving height
Off Road = Off road

You can change the height of any RRS be it a TDV6 or S/C RRS TDV6 Gone but still around
