Had a fab day out today at the London boat show at Excel. Multi million pound floating palaces everywhere, utterly superb the engineering that goes into these craft.

However, there was also a Land Rover stand proudly showing off the new Sport, Range Rover and also the Range Rover long wheelbase.
Well, all I can say is that the new breed of Land Rovers are simply extraordinary, the long wheelbase Range Rover is simply breathtaking, rear seats that almost lay flat out like a bed, luxury everywhere a really impressive vehicle.
The new sport has up to now not had my vote, but what I saw today was unbelievable. The rep was detailing how these vehicles have moved on from the 2010 variants, the new sport now being available as a hybrid also which makes real sense.

The only down side."..""..... £81500 for a supercharged sport !
I am going to have to start saving up big time as I am now totally smitten, could even go over to the dark side and choose the new Range Rover.......

The SDV8 is predicted to be north of £90k with a few toys, side steps, electric tow bar and dog guard and sunroofs, which is why I saved myself 15k and bought an ex-demo 405. It feels smaller inside though its same length as 322 less the skyscraper roof line. Only test drove a new V6 sport which didn't light any fires or desires and still trying to decide if I sell the old FF or keep it as it is losing money faster than riverside house within 2 miles of River Seven


The river reference? Road home yesterday....... 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
