Whilst no doubt a reason, not the only reason...or the most important motivating reason - although definitely the most important bottom line!

For example, the more options you have, the less you have as standard, the less you have a standard you get things like lighter weight/weight savings, maybe linked to emissions, it also shows a lower base price to keep people interested - you might walk in understanding it costs £52k but not £62k Mike
