2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Alaska White
Cam belt length

Hi im going to attemp the cambelt on my 06 2.7 v6d sport on saturday. I have just received the cambelt from an internet supplier and just want to confirm the over all length before I start.

The belt i have received is pretty small. 13" x 4" Does that seem right?

Also what size/diameter pins are req to lock off the cams, pump and crank?

Kind Regards

That looks like the fuel pump belt, which should also have a new tensioner with it.

Cambelt is much bigger than that. Bodsys Brake Bible

That is the fuel pump belt. EU3 has 85 teeth, EU4 has 82 teeth Thumbs Up

Front belt is much much bigger. Cam locking pins, from memory are 5.9mm each. Crank locking tool is an odd shaped item, that cannot really be matched.
A set of locking tools can be had for £50 or so, from the usual places online, or from Advanced Factors Thumbs Up

For such a vital part, I would only ever fit a genuine Land Rover Belt In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.
