It'll be expensive, trust me......I know from experience Big Cry

You're best finding a local specialist, a new cover from LR will cost circa £400 assuming it's the base. You could also keep an eye out on eBay as a lot of the bespoke companies (Kahn etc) sell their take off sets on there.

To find a local specialist, Google either "LTT" or "Furniture Clinic" for someone reputable Wink ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Hi,

I'll post a pic when I get the car, but should a local upholsterer be able to make the repair?

Don't think it needs the whole thing replacing.

A decent upholsterer will be able to make it look like new, but expect to pay strong money, it's a proper skill.

If you are in a part of Bucks within striking distance of Luton then pop in and see this company.

Can thoroughly recommend them and not expensive- it's a father and son business been going since the 70's. Interesting workshop to visit too as they always have a few interesting old vehicles in - including vintage. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Thanks Olly.

I've emailed them...

Here's the damage and repair attempt.

I guess it's a common issue with the climbing in and out?

Anyone else had this and repaired it?

It's the only blip in my otherwise immaculate interior.

Thx
