Mud Flaps

I bought mud flaps and was going to put them on the car, but I just bought the overfinch tiger wheels and I am thinking the mud flaps might take away a little from the wheel. What do you guys think? Have you ever seen a sport with 22's and mud flaps?

If you look in the gallery under James photos, he has some pics of RRS with overfinch alloys but sadly no mudflaps. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Don't hesitate about installing mudflaps. I put some on my RRS last weekend and they look fantastic. In addition to providing protection, they complement the shape of the wheel arch really well. It wasn't until I installed them that I realized the wheels look kind of bare without them, like they are missing something.

The only thing to be careful about is that the front flaps use plastic clips and the rear flaps use steel spring clips to attach the self tapping screws to. The plastic clips are very fidly and I actually broke the first one I tried to install and spent about 45 minutes developing a work around. If you put the plastic clips in place, you have to leave them there. If you change your mind they will break when you try to remove them.

However, the actual process of installing the mud flaps was relatively painless and the other three went on in about 20 minutes total time for all three.

Good luck TONYSHEP
