Just finished cleaning step trim thanks for all the tips..

Used wifes oven pad & some wet & dry on the drivers side & Autosol Very Happy

These finishing touches make all the difference wheel arches next..

It's also worth checking the undersides of these trims too, they seem to suffer an immense amount of corrosion with the trims dropping off after as little as a couple of years. I know our own Ady on here suffered with that and I know for a fact he looked after his RRS very well.

Looking at my pics thinking about using Meguiars All Season on the rubber & plastic trim's anybody tried Question i read some good reviews on line.





Ref side step trim I did cost with poor boys sealant while I was doing the alloys

If you want to do the job once and properly, get some Gtechniq C4, apply and forget. Really is the best and most durable plastic coating product out there. Costs more in the short term, but the results are superb. Thumbs Up

You can also use on the pillars (if plastic) and panel under the widescreen, all of which are prone to fading. Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Diluted Acid I find it brings them up like brand new, had a disco 3 and used the same then👌
