Off roading in South Wales

Hi,

Does anyone know any recommended off road 'lanes / routes' in South Wales....something not too strenuous as I don't fancy spending too many days t-cutting out the marks!

Do you want to off road or drive on some green lanes...there a loads of green lanes (which isn't off roading) in wales and there are a fair few off road sites. Mike

Bit of both really, though the cars pretty standard with road tyres on so could be interesting, though I reckon the rrs is still pretty capable...

Sorry I didn't see your first reply.

There are loads in all the areas, its not easy to just list a load, you either need to join a club, look through Maps of the area you will be in or find a guide. All around the midlands have them. The RRS is good, but suffers like the d3/4 in width and its about now much you want to damage it.
20 inch wheels will always be an issue as they are easy to pinch Mike

Look in the back Of "Land Rover Owner International" magazine. Each month they have a list things that are going on. They also carry green laning features each month with each from a different location. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Also if you are using a map, you need to check the definitive map/LA for TRO's or changes Mike

If you're travelling as one car stick to green lanes; unless you have a winch for when you've lost traction Big Cry
