PICS - Will aftermarket mudflaps fit this?

Hi,

I bought some aftermarket mudflaps from TotalParts but they don't seem to fit!

Can you look at my car and tell me if mudflaps should fit - or has the lower skirt been modified etc?

You'll see one pic I've tried to offer up the rear mudflap.

Thanks,
Simon

That will teach you to buy cheap copies... Laughing They are only about £50 a pair for genuine flaps you cheapskate.

Is that a bodykit or just the standard bumper colour coded? I can't tell from your pics.

Standard HSE bumpers which have been colour coded.

Just get some genuine ones, they fit perfectly on my RRS. Mine looks very similar, although without the black bits. Wink 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

It's hard to see from your pic exactly where you are offering up the mudflap but after puzzling over it for a while I have to ask:

Are you sure that's not a front mudflap being offered up to the rear arch? 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Well Paddi,

Unless the flaps that were sent have been put in the wrong box - you might be right.

I'll check.

Just been quoted for the genuine parts from a local dealer...

The costs for the parts/ labour and VAT are below:

Front Mud-flaps – Parts = £80.94Inc, Labour (0.6) = £90Inc/ total = £170.94Inc

Rear Mud-flaps - Parts = £80.94Inc, Labour (0.5) = £75Inc / Total £155.94Inc

Overall total for both front and rear £326.88Inc

I paid about £48 front & £48 for rear fitted free from my dealer. Wink I'd change your dealer if i was you. Give Dan a ring from Duckworths, I'm sure they arn't that price off him.

Just checked again - nope they're not even close to fitting either front or rear!

Duckworths are £63 a set for front and rear, so £126 plus postage...

£48 great price!

Land Rover hiked the price of parts earlier this year. I paid £127 for a set of mudflaps in August from Duckworths and fitted myself.
But its the sort of job you need to do on a nice warm summer day not the middle of Censored winter. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
