Hi all.. I'm in need of a favour Rolling Eyes

I start work in Shoreham-by-Sea at the start of November, and need to move into somewhere down that way by the start of October, before I go off to Morocco.

Therefore I'm after some general advice about where I should look to live, where to avoid, etc etc. I'm not too bothered about living right on the coast, I'm hoping that inland will be cheaper and I'd prefer not to be in one of the big towns.

Obviously it needs to be within easy reach of Shoreham, so somewhere 15-20 miles out is probably ok unless you know otherwise Wink

Hopefully I'll be down in a week or so to trawl around the estate agents but thought it was worth a post incase anyone had any info!

Thanks Very Happy

Shoreham is not that far along the coast from Hove/Brighton, which are both v expensive - so not sure if the high prices have bled along as far as Shoreham. I think you might be right, the coastal towns are probably more expensive than the inland towns/villages... but there's plenty of lovely little villages to choose from. Don't expect Northern prices though - West Sussex isn't the cheapest place on the planet.....

Are you after a flat? House? Beach hut? Wink

Pelyma lives in Climping doesn't he? That's a bit further down the coast towards Littlehampton, but he might know the places that are more favourable....

There are some nice places arround there, for the cheaper places just go a bit more to the left or more land inwards

Yes Havank, I am joining Ricardo Smile VA - see www.ricardo.com

I'm after a flat/house to rent to start with, as I could be moving to a different site after about 6 months. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

Not sure on the division yet as I'm joining the Graduate Scheme and will join a department and project after a couple of months.

Really looking forward to it as it's more or less exactly what I wanted to to Cool Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!
