I am an apple girl through and through. I have this very crappy HP laptop (suppose to be the best ) for work. I would never ever purchase windows again.

Even running the latest windows version and using a nokia lumia phone for work, I find that I divert all calls to my personal phone (iphone 5s) and I work in mac and email to work HP.

I find apple to more intuitive and definitely a better user experience. To be honest, who could live without facetime !!!

Just to add balance (and reality )

Apple is the most restrictive, unhelpful, hinderance possible...it does well because its designed for people that actually don't want to do anything.

Its a shame the latest blackberry OS was so late - I have a corporate one and its brilliant.

I also have a Windows 8 and 8.1 and its brilliant - took a day to get used to and it really does work, its even better on the surface running windows 8 (be better to run 8.1) because its the touch element.

I also have and ipad (because I have to for 1 thing) and an android phone and the phone makes the ipad just look simple.

Apple is great if you want to do what apple want - but for everything else, its really pants. Mike

2014 Facelift Discovery

Following software updates to our Ipad2, IMac, MiniMac and MacBook Pro they now freeze and stop responding just like windows used to so I have ordered a Surface Pro and will see how it compares - things seem to be slipping at Apple

Considering how much more I have spent on Apple products than equivalent MS I am pretty off as they were excellent when I bought them although running payroll and accounts programmes was a nightmare  Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
