I'm not convinced supermarket fuel is always that cheap anyway. Round here there are usually branded fuel stations nearby and the prices are usually a penny or two different for standard fuels. Hardly an issue considering the better quality of the branded stuff.

I looked in to the lubricity issue and Esso (for one) standard diesel far exceeds the BS lubricity requirements. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

What Diesel?

Hi all,

Blimey, I didnt mean to open such a can of worms.

We were warned off of Supermarket fuel years ago, had a little Kia and they dont like it very much.

I will run the Rangie for a while and change about to see what is best.
