Has anyone had any experience with a roof mounted dvd system?

I have 3 kids and keeping my cherrubs quiet on a journey is a must

Having never had any experience i am unsure what to do.

I'd get a couple of cheap Chinese Tablet PC's and load movies onto them, before ruining my headlining  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

They are simple and quick to install (well I took my new live feeds direct from the fuse box so not so quick), I fitted a 15" one with DVD/games consoles/wireless headphones etc. The kids love it but still ask "are we there yet"

Ok the downside is it really limits you visibility for your blind spot check or rear screen view.

I haven't fit this in my sport it was my t5 transporter.

My sport has headrest dvd screens but if I was in your position I'd get an iPad and the bracket that clips it to the headrest bars.
