Australia 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Zermatt Silver

I live in Brisbane Australia and i have exactly the same issue with my dash!
because it's an 07 landrover are not interested in the slightest about discussing it.
As it is near the airbag no dash repair specialist will touch it.

My solution:
I took 2 lengths of insulation tape and stuck it stuck it very close either side of the crack.
I then left the car in the shade with ac on full!!!!!
This opens the crack more.....
i then filled the crack with Sikoflex Car body sealer.
Parked it out in the sun and put the heater on also to raise the internal temp of the vehicle.
Next step.... as the crack closes it squeezes the filler out.
Once the crack has fully closed remove the insulation tape leaving a very smooth straight seal.
Leave the vehicle in the sun to fully cure the sealant.
Polish the dash with Kiwi boot polish (seriously) and put a dash mat on it!
problem solved.

United Arab Emirates 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Cairns Blue

Thanks streaky to get me in fb group.

Thanks dan for the suggestion, maybe worth a try.

I went round some garages today, so far only one said replace (at one hell of a hefty price Big Cry ), the others all talked about recovering/Reupholstering the dash, usually the types of garages that do interior mods... Don't quite know how it works with the passenger airbag though (not too sure the guys in the garages know either) Question
