I have a my11 rrs from new.ever since I have had it I have a problem with gear changing only when I first start it.for the first 5 min when I go to pull away from cold I rev it but for a few seconds it doesn't seem to want to get in gear.this only happens for a few min and then it is fine.the car has been in to have software updates but doesn't cure it.sort of lived with it but wandering if anybody has the same issues.?

Could well be that the transmission fluid level is far too low.

have you been at the dealer yet?
and if it was indeed the case the box might have experienced extensive wear. not a problem now but if you tend to keep the car for another couple of years, the expenses might turn up on you. So get a proof from the dealer with maybe a written statement that if the transmission fails in a couple of years due to low fluid level in the past, that the bill is for them.
