United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Bonatti Grey
Front and rear ace bars plus rear hydro bushes

Hello guys.

Hope somebody can help.

105k service complete. Couple of advisories.

1 Front and rear ace bars can be moved with a bar.
2 front lower rear hydro bushes knocking.

Any explanation would be great.

Concerning point 2. I and friends cannot hear any knocking under braking.

Dealer told me not to worry as they were only advisory however just wanted to know a little more and if they can be done DIY.

Cheers.

Lee

Probably the rubber mounting bushes for the ACE bars need replacing. It's possible DIY but not easy because the bolts are hard to get at.

The lower arm bushes can be changed but it is so hard to get the arms off owing to corrosion that most recommend just changing the whole arm complete with bushes. The old arms are chopped off with grinder.

Recommend you search the site for ARC//ARB bushes and lower arms bushes; lots of helpful posts. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
