20-25k should get you a nice genuine HST. I paid just over that(25750) for mine in august (although mine is a TDV8). Mine came with the original HST brochure and according to the brochure and as said above ^^^ the HST had all the standard HSE bits +

Right you've all convinced me, I'm now on the hunt for a factory HST either TDV8 or SC.

Lancaster Land Rover in Welwyn have what looks like a nice TDV8 HST at top dollar but they all look good in the pictures. Might be worth a look?

My TDV8 appears to have the important bits from that list except the active rear diff. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I'd be inclined to start a topic and see if any of the chaps here can offer that service in your area. I'd likely trust the opinion of a guru/specialist/enthusiast from here than a bloke who just checks random cars and doesn't know these cars specifically. |

It's expensive compared with a private sale standard TDV8 but it has low miles and a couple of thousand pounds worth of HST kit and being Land Rover approved I would hope it comes with a good warranty. Dealers typically don't want to reduce the sticker price but perhaps you could negotiate extras such a a longer warranty, free servicing and MOT for a couple of years? 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE |

@Stuart, my exact thoughts! lots of newbies to RRS would rather trust a specialist off this forum than a random bloke from RAC. Perhaps one for Martin to consider. |

They are offering 1yr warranty which is probably worth the extra price I guess? Might ask for some free servicing too? |
