Hi from a newbie!

Picked up my RR Sport yesterday! First impressions are much better than I expected. The ride, build quality and general ambiance are fantastic!! Two downsides..... The Satnav seems really over complicated and has less info on it than my portable Garmin? Also Very Happy Very Happy my car has neither the PTI or the fixed phone. Can either of these be retro fitted?

Finally, I want to buy a few bits for the car, Side steps load liner etc. Is there anyone offering better pricing than main dealers. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I am not the Worlds biggest Forum poster and spend a lot of time on the TVR site but I do read all the new post's and hope to get to know you all over the next few months!! Ian Just aqquired a Silver HSE. Also have a TVR Tuscan

Welcome aboard the good ship RRSport.co.uk, Ian! Very Happy

To answer some of your questions:

- The Satnav has it's knockers (...), where others seem to really like it. It's not the best available that's for sure.
- It is technically possible to retrofit the PTI, but probably not worth the expense and potential troublemaking that it might cause. Best buy yourself a cheaper BT kit
- eBay is a good place for accessories. Some dealers even sell goods on eBay at reduced prices (whether it's strictly legit or not is up for debate).

Hope that helps.

Don't know what is a good one as have never had to do the research myself... plenty of kits on the market though. Do some Googling! Wink

Hi Guys! Thanks for the advice. I guess with the Satnav its a question of RTFM... Read the f#@king Manual.

I have seen a few bits on Fleebay for RR Sports so will try there. Just aqquired a Silver HSE. Also have a TVR Tuscan
