All i can tell you, is that as long as you enter 2121 as your pairing code, then the swapout BT modules that I supply will provide that update. Phone book contacts on the radio screen.

Bodsy can probably explain the differences more than I, but, AIUI, the later Bluetooth module gives better sound quality (the main benefit), more contacts and the signal strength on the screen. There may be other things too but I don't have first hand experience of it, yet (it's on my list of upgrades ). Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

I had to use 2121 to connect, which was annoying, but for some strange reason in the last 2 weeks it now connects without using the code!! |
