What voltage are you putting out?

The normal failure of these particular units result in battery being cooked and a break down, of course it could end much worse if the battery goes bang, don't risk it. Paul Redding

Not sure I put it in garage had alternator changed which caused warning lights to come on on the dash, I took it back they said it was ab faulty alternator putting out to high voltage, they have since changed the alternator but I'm still getting the lights on they have said its a problem with the ecu. When I spoke to them on Friday they said it's an ongoing problem with the alternators, but I'm trying to find out what damage could have been done so they don't bullshit me when I take it in

Not sure about ECU damage, would need to know what the voltage is that is coming out, it's why we only have new Denso units, not impressed with many recons. Paul Redding
