Engine system fault following battery recharge

It's a red herring!

Why have I had to charge the battery? Because the car has been stood! So? I hear you ask ..... We'll the turbo actuator rods have seized up!! So no low down power infact, pretty pathetic power considering its a V8.... Top end power was good, no black smoke, so turbo's were fine.

Stripped heat shields off from inside lh wheel arch and actuator rod stuck open I.e upwards but should be downwards when ignition off! Lubricated two pivot points, need two people or coat hanger gadget to manipulate linkage whilst oiling. Worked a treat, yes bit tight and awkward but there are worse jobs, road tested and engine system fault went away with no reset required.

If other turbo actuator rods had been a problem then error message would still have been there .... Just lucky that we picked the faulty side first, never touched the other side. Very Happy Rolling with laughter Mike
