What's your ambient temperature at the moment? If it's above 5 degrees, IIRC that's exactly what the FBH should do.

If you can get the software and a lead to connect to the FBH you can then test it fully, I have had a few like this and with a diagnostic lead and the webasto software have manged to clear them and get them going, can also be done with a Faultmate MSV2.

Look on the Disco3 wiki. There's a section about the FBH including where to source the leads and software. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

The initial question is: 'What is the temperature in your location at the moment?' IIRC - The heater isn't supposed to start if the temperature is >5 degrees. So, if it's warm enough, it's not supposed to start anyway. As for fixing them, if you can work out what's wrong, they're fairly easy to repair and the parts are usually available on e-bay, etc... its now 2 degress here in Oslo and the FBH should start. We tried to get it going with the faultmate and it starts but stops again every time.

Not sure the temperature matters if fitted with a remote as this overrides the limits for auto operation . I fitted an oval timer to my D3 and it would fire up whenever i pressed the flame button regardless of outside temperature. The >4/5 degrees setting only comes into effect for automatic operation as does coolant temp and fuel level

Apologies, I missed your reply! Yes, it could be the chamber but worth checking that the fuel pump/supply is working, coolant circulation pump and the fan/air supply for the chamber are all working before replacing. M |

E-Bay is probably your best bet.
