hi, been looking to get a rrs, anyway im going to look at one tommorrow as ive agreed a good deal on my my, problem is its done 129k miles, sont get me wrong ive had 20 or so bmws on the trot, many of which have done far more miles, also my brother has a disco 3 with 149k miles on and it drives like a dream, theres just something that concerns me with a landrover and highish milage, to add its a 2005 2.7td, thanks

That is high mileage does the owner have any service history this would be a must for me to no the engine has been looked after as much as possible.

Mine has done over 100k and still drives flawlessly so don't be put off thinking it'll instantly be a sub standard car.

I'd make sure the service history is upto scratch and make sure the cambelt has been changed as that was due at 105k miles/7 years. Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. Defender 90 pick up. Vito 110cdi

thanks for the replys, well bought it its on 129k, full land rover service history up to 116k, they have done one at 101k too, i bought it from around 70 miles away but its the landrover garage 15 miles from me thats looked after it from 2007-present, 2005-2007 was another main dealer so going to ring them to make sure belts have been done at 105k, anyway it driver near perfect apart from one daft little thing thats £30 so im well chufffed!

phoned dealer today, gave them the vin and all history tallies to their records, all belts were done at 101k miles, i actually looked and its done 40k since feb 2012 so must have got some use! anyway all is good just needs front brake pads.
