Round town TDV8 Real mpg

Dilemma between the SC and TDV8 comes down to round town mpg, as the TDV8 is a conciderable amount more to purchase..

i know the SC is about 11mpg in heavy town driving but what is the real world round town mpg of the TDV8 ?

Proper round town please ?

Many thanks

Heavy town traffic? 18mpg maybe. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I live 1440 ft up a one track which kills MPG, however still averaging 24/25, on a motorway run at circa 75/80 I get real time 35 , it has been chipped though

I get 15/17 mpg in town. But not London traffic. That with the 5.0 supercharge. Thumbs Up MY11 Autobiography supercharged. Santorini Black. Monaco interior. Rear screens. Privacy.
Gone MY08 Supercharged HST. Java black. Ivory premium interior. Rear screens. Privacy. Missed a lot.

35!?? How the hell do you manage that? On a run at 80 I get 26mpg, 28mpg if I'm lucky... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I get about 17/18 around town and up to 24/25 at a steady M way pace.

Given your annual mileage I'd go SC Thumbs Up FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

yep, 17/18 in traffic and 24-28 on the motorway.

I once zero'd the counter as I entered the motorway and read it as I left the motorway... No tailwind.. 70mph all the way for an hour, and it was reading 32mpg... but this is hardly a real world "accurate" figure to base true mpg on. RRS gone
