TDV6 v TDV8

I am looking from moving from my 07 Discovery 3, TDV6, to a post 59 plate rrs.

I would like the additional power of the rrs, but which engine? The TDV6 is 250 bhp and the TDV8 is 270. is that right?

What are peoples views on the power comparison. 2013 L405 Range Rover TDV6 Corris Grey (On Order)
2007 Discovery 3 (BFG MT, underbody protection)
1988 3.5 Range Rover Classic
1993 4.6 Range Rover Classic LSE
