I have decided to change into a later car. I have done 27000 without any real problems in my 57 plate TDV8 so going to go for a later sport. Thinking of a 2011 or 2012 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography and wondered if there were any changes between the 2 years and anything that is a must have extra. Any comments appreciated

If you are talking september 2011 onwards then i don't think there is any difference because thats when the SDV6 came out. Prior to that it was the TDV6 with the 6 speed gearbox. You might get some late 2011 reg with the TDV6 engine but september was the change over to the SDV6 a much better engine/gearbox combination with about 10 extra horses. Spec wise, the A/B is very well specced but you could still get a few extras like sunroof, I'm not sure the surround camera was standard or an extra though. Have a word with James or Jeremy at HGG.

You are spot on that the Autobiography comes very well equipped from the factory. Surround camera was always an option though.

We do have some nice late vehicles (including two 5.0 s/c in Santorini )

No response as of yet but to be honest not really decided exactly what I am after. Would like a sdv6 autobiography or possibly an HSE with exterior design pack. Not sure if the Autobiography has much more in it than the HSE with design pack? Maybe in Orkney grey. As you can probably tell its early days in deciding what I want.

A mate has just bought an HSE with design pack in Fuji White and it looks great and that has started me looking to update mine.

Thats one of the reasons i specced mine up like i have, the A/B had features i didn't want and didn't have some features that i wanted so i specced it somewhere inbetween and saved a fortune and got the exact vehicle i wanted.

Well managed to do a deal on another sport today. Got a June 2012 HSE Luxury with exterior design pack in Orkney Grey and Ebony premium leather and contrast stitching.
