I've just had the front pads and sensor changed but the warning light is on,amber, and the LCD screen still shows the info warning check brake pads. Also had the back ones checked but not changed.

This was done at Kwik fit who have said that if it doesn't go out after a few miles of driving then to take it back, should the warnings not clear themselves or does it need to be cleared via a computer? Freelander SE - Gone

I am unable to give advice, but I would be interested in finding out what needs to be done to clear the warning.

Are you sure they changed the front sensor and checked the rear one, if they have replaced the front and the rear was ok then it should have gone out as soon as you turned the ignition on, there is still a fault on the system.

Have they fitted the correct sensor the ones fitted to these are not like the normal sport ones..

The rear one is faulty.

As for the it going off after mileage what a load of crap.. but you did use quick fit.

They told us they did as we had to wait for it to turn up from the suppliers, not supplied with the pads money grabbing ......, we are taking it back tomorrow. He showed us the pad with the sensor fitted and the lead was like two feet long.
