Thinking of getting my RRS Remapped TDV6,any body had it done
and can you feel the differance power ETC comsumption,i live in
york have been told to use bell autos

I have a Discovery 3 TDV6, Bell Autos did the remap for me at the Peterborough show, it added about 35 extra BHP but the big differences are no flat spots, super fast pick up when you kick down and much improved MPG when you don't

Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

I had a piggy back one on my L322 that could be easily removed...was called Tuneit, that was a good bit of kit...and cost effective

Tune-it style boxes generally just over fuel the engine to increase performance and are in no way as good as a proper map  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

I actually got better MPG?? but i agree a remap is the better...but more expensive product

just a question guys, why is a remap expensive? I've seen figures of £500 or so, is a new part being installed or is it simply because it's labour intensive ?
As you can tell, I know nothing about the remapping process

DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

You pay for the expertise, and because the have the equipment to do it. Supply and demand........

Visit Pete and you will understand the cost, he has massive outlays on equipment - Dynometer etc
Much more involved than someone turning up with a laptop and bunging a standard map on your car.

I recommend Pete Bell from Bell Auto's his maps are number one the car is transformed when one is applied the driverabliity is a lot better for response and over taking, and no flat spots.

I have had mine on for two and half years now and still love it.
