England 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Java Black
Low voltage when starting the engine.

Hi All

Just after a bit of advice regarding voltage and fault codes
I Have a RRS TDV8 3.6 .
I have a few recurring fault codes all revolving around loss of comms, all the faults must be temporary because all the bits of equipment the faults codes refer to are working fine.
I have replaced the alternator, battery and battery lead clamps.
Today using my diagnostic equipment i put a live feed from the battery and noticed when cranking the engine over for a split second the volts drop to 9.9 volts.
Before starting it sits at a steady 12.2v when started and running it goes straight up to 14.4 v .

Can anybody tell me if that split second voltage drop could cause the faults.as i have been told RRS don't like anything below 10.5 volts.

Cheers
