Looking to get a recovery, car transporter 7.5T to ferry the offroader to places. I haven't the faintest idea of insuring one, have rang round a few and its a minefield.

It's for private use only, for my offroad toy and not for recovery hire.

Anyone recommend cheap places to get insured? We are talking about it being used about 8 times a year, less than 2500 miles a year. Have full no claims and on the wrong side of 40. I'm after social, domestic and pleasure, not business. 2007 TDV6 HSE
