few years back i went past my servicing dealers and saw my car parked outside on the forecourt, i questioned this a few days later when i collected it when the parts had arrived and been fitted.

New defender door and bonnet thefts was/is very common....certainly when i had my 2008 defender

A friend of mine had a front indicator stolen from his D1. A few nights later someone stole the headlight from the same side. Apparently they are extremely easy to remove.

^^^^^ Nope, the D3 lights come straight off with a good tug. A pal of mine had his nicked a few months ago. Quite common for these to be stolen according to the police. |

Really? Wow, I'm amazed that they'd design something like that. Actually, it's LR so perhaps I'm not amazed... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Had a D2 TD5, had the lamps in the rear bumper and both rear lamps nicked in broad daylight whilst in a Coventry car park. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
