what is a shut off coil valve?
when talking about the ARC module?
this was replaced when i had the suspension warning light with error code C1B07-19.
specifically what I am trying to figure out is if that valve was replaced, would the mechanic have to bleed the hydraulic system?
i have this hissing sound emanating from what feels like the front off-side wheel or it could be behind the steering wheel/driver's door area. only noticeable around bends. i was initially lead to believe it was brake components. but another mechanic believes this could only be air stuck in the hydraulics and not bled properly when work was done to the system. I do know I had this shut off valve replaced to clear the above error. would they have bled the system? and is it possible it wasn't done "properly" leaving air stuck?07 TDV8 + BAS map

spent hours googling and found the answer right here!
believe this is in fact the directional control valve and yes the ARC system needs to be bled for this.

The front air suspension valve block is in the front offside wheel arch behind the arch liner. Might be worth checking for leaks there too perhaps.2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
