United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
anyone changed their brake lines/pipes ?

i've noticed that my brake lines are a little rusty and therefore wanna nip this in the bud before winter. has anyone changed their brake lines themselves and want to share how they found the whole experience ? Maybe even where you bought the replacement pipes from?

seen some people attempt it on the disco site and seems straight forward, though they do mention that a good brake pipe flaring tool is an important tool Thumbs Up Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

A good tool is very important Laughing

I bought one of these: http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/39032527489...mp;ff14=65

Cut the pipes above the centre silencer, female pipe union and flare on the steel side, male union and flare on the copper side. When the pipes are off, measure the old steel pipe, and cut the new copper pipe to the same length. Flare both ends and fit, then bleed the brakes, and check for leaks Thumbs Up
