Autoglass confirmed today they've ordered a genuine LR replacement screen at their own expense (not mine), although it's not due in until late next week. Apparently, these screens are often hard to source in correct spec so Autoglass grab the first one available from any of a number of different suppliers who have it in stock. I believe Pilkington makes the genuine LR screens so you're in luck if one of theirs ends-up on your car as a replacement, with or without LR logo. You could be right RRSTDV8 about the fitting but it was done by a "Master Technician" at their workshop and shouldn't happen twice, should it? Sorry to hear I'm not alone in getting two cracked screens in close succession. Thank heavens there's no limits on insurance and it doesn't affect NCD.
