Brake pedal switch. Cures warning lights.?

Thought you all like to know that I have recently had a few warnings of late. Suspension warnings, gearbox, brake, engine etc. After a bit of forum research as well I changed my brake pedal switch and like magic all my warnings vanished. Don't ask me why but I'm still amazed that such an switch failure would cause all the warnings. Switch cost £15. Result!

I had months of issues and all were blamed on brake switch - had 3 replaced due to fault and because calibration was missed before it was cured Rolling Eyes
